February 15 - international day of children with cancer

The fight for the lives of children with cancer should be a priority issue for society. Every year, about 300,000 children around the world are diagnosed with various forms of tumors and leukemias. In the Republic of Moldova, this figure is about 150 children per year, which for our country is very much, and statistical data shows that this rate is constantly increasing.

On February 15, we mark the international day of the child with cancer, designed to draw the world's attention to the problems faced by young cancer patients, but it is also an opportunity to Express our support for children and adolescents diagnosed with this disease, and the families that are with them!

The public Association "Life Without leukemia" was founded in 2006 by the will of a group of parents, whose children were diagnosed with oncological diseases of the blood and lymphatic system. The goal of creating the association was established at the very moment of identifying its name – to ensure all children a life without leukemia, without cancer, without pain and suffering.

We are the only Association in Moldova that supports children diagnosed with oncological diseases of the blood and lymphatic system and the families that care for these children. We are working hard to help young patients admitted to the children's Hematology Department of the Oncology Institute in Moldova to overcome the pain, isolation, loneliness and despair in order to finally overcome this ruthless disease!

Through our activities we strengthen the hope of children and their parents for healing and we do everything possible to bring them as soon as possible among healthy children.

Thank you to all who have chosen to help these wonderful children through our association! Only together can we help them enjoy a healthy life!
