Meadow of Wishes
The Meadow of Wishes is a project designed for newly admitted patients of the Pediatric Hematology Unit of the Oncological Institute. The child who has been recently admitted to hospital faces on a sudden a major change in his life, being forced to stay isolated for many months from the world he was used to before, being surrounded only by infusions, injections, branules, drugs and multiple bans.
Through this beautiful project we try to divert the child from the hospital reality and offer him the opportunity to see a dream coming true. The wish (a toy or a game, a book, a favorite hero, a sports equipment or other item he has been dreaming of for a long time), written with great care, reaches the owners of dreams. We take care to find the right owners and in the shortest time the wish becomes reality! For more than 3 years we have managed to make happy over 150 children and thus help them get through this difficult period more easily!
