A step towards renovation of Pediatric Oncology Wards

Pediatric oncology wards need serious repairs in order to provide all necessary comfort for patients during the long periods of medical treatments, and for the parents - adequate conditions to take good care of little patients during hospitalization. We have constantly mentioned this issue on various occasions.

The idea to launch this project was initiated by the Association "Daruieste Aripi" from Romania who committed to provide the Institute of Oncology, free of charge, with a feasibility study for the renovation and modernization of the Department of Pediatric Oncology, observing the highest international standards. This study will serve as basis for the further development of technical projects and the establishment of estimated expenditures.

It is the first, but the most important step towards this long-awaited renovation! We are sure and have a firm confidence in the success of this initiative! "Daruieste Aripi" already has a solid experience in renovating hospital wards for children in Constanța district, and is one of the most active associations that supports children with chronic diseases in Romania.
