The 2% mechanism has proven its effectiveness! Thank you for supporting us!
Through the contribution of about 500 people who supported the cause for our Association through the 2% mechanism, in 2019 we benefited from the amount of 79,261.51 MDL - funds which were redirected by the State Treasury to support the Association "Life Without Leukemia". This amount is a proof that what we do is really important and we are happy to have so many people by our side!
A part of these means were directed for the purchase of medical devices and consumables (branules, tubes for infusers, discofixes, etc.) adapted to the needs of children patients under treatment at the Pediatric Hematology department of the Oncology Institute. Another part of financial means allocated through this mechanism are used to directly support the young patients – we provide sets of hygiene products upon admission to hospital, organize celebrations on various occasions, provide gifts for children and help for parents in difficulty, etc.
