The World of Future in the pictures created by children – patients of the Oncological Institute
”The World I Want To Live In” is the title of the unique exposition of pictures created by the children – patients of the Oncological Institute of the Republic of Moldova. During a whole week the visitors had the opportunity to contemplate over 30 patient art works, created by pediatric cancer patients under treatment in hospital or in pauses at home, as well as children that have won the battle with the disease. Each picture has a special story and renders to the whole world a string message of love for people and love for life.
The pictures had been created during a two month period. The children were offered all necessary support to be able to transmit through art all their emotions and dreams for the future world they would love to live in. The young painters were so much inspired that decided to create even 2 or 3 paintings. Participation in this exhibition is a very important and responsible event for each child, since this is their first public display of their art.
Through this activity the children suffering from cancer are showing that despite all difficulties they are forced to encounter, they imagine and dream to live in a world full of love, light, gratitude, empathy, and desire to live.
The exhibition ”The World I Want To Live In” has been organised for the first time in the Republic of Moldova and was inaugurated within the “Living Cells” project by Inessa Demerji, with the support of Stati Holding, in collaboration with the Association “Viata fara leucemie”.
